Our blessing. Sweet and precious. Joshua Jude has blessed more peoples lives in his 7 days of life than he knows. We waited a long time to meet this little one. We prayed for 3 1/2 years for him and he's here. He was born last Friday to an amazing young woman who has been an incredible gift and blessing to our family. Joshua Jude was blessed to spend his first 2 1/2 days of life with her which we were so grateful for. Her love for him is weaved throughout his story.
His first name was chosen by her - Joshua, which means God is salvation, God rescues.
And his middle name was chosen by us - Jude, which means praise, thanks.
What an awesome name! We feel, for his little life and the story that God has chosen to tell through it, calling him Joshua Jude encompasses so much of who this little boy is and will grow up to be. We are humbled and blessed to raise this little boy, to love him and teach him about Jesus.
Joshua 22:5
"But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the LORD gave you: to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to obey his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and all your soul."

Dad and I are so blessed to be grand parents again, another grandson! " Joshua Jude" is just adorable! I love seeing his cousins "O" and "Em" with him!
He fits right in with our family, and we all welcome him with open arms and lots of love!

This is Brigit Emsheimer's sister, Brandi........My mom (Donna, - Mary's good friend) sent me your blog, and she and Brig have kept me up to date throughout the last year or so of your journey toward little Joshua Jude's adoption...
I have cried, and prayed with you and Noah a number of times over the last nine months or so, as I've read the forwarded emails you've written. - I just wanted to relay how very, very happy I am for you all....
